Software and Service Solutions
for Document Fulfillment in Today's Complex and Dynamic Environment

Bradley Company was founded in 1983, primarily to address the forms management requirements of document-intensive companies. Customers were asking for an independent set of tools that would allow them to access the many benefits of forms management, such as; forms control, lower overall cost, inventory management, forms standardization, usage reporting, etc.

In response to this market demand, Bradley Company engaged a group of large companies to offer their advice, their unique needs and their expertise over an initial development period of several years. This ensured not only a robust solution, but a solution which was entirely focused on the customer's requirements.

Over the years, the scope broadened widely to encompass the entire lifecycle of both documents and other consumable items. From purchasing and receiving, through inventory management and fulfillment, to requisitioning and reporting, Bradley Company software offers seamless integration and state-of-the-art capabilities. Web-based requisitioning, automated Print-on-Demand, electronic forms integration and complex kit fulfillment are all features of Bradley Company's flagship software, Spectrum Plus. The software can also easily interface with existing applications (such as General Ledger, Shipping manifests, Accounts Payable systems, etc.) for complete data integration.

In 1998, Bradley Company was acquired by Xerox Corporation, as a wholly owned subsidiary. This acquisition strengthens the ability of Xerox to offer complete end-to-end document solutions, and uniquely positions Bradley Company to deliver our powerful suite of software and service solutions.

Today, Bradley Company offers solutions through Spectrum Plus software, Custom Programming, and the Document Advisor Office . Clients include such industry leaders as Royal Bank of Canada, Chubb and Son, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, CIGNA and Cargill.

Business Philosophies

Three guiding principles continue to provide Bradley Company with overall direction and focus:

  1. Listen carefully to the customer. This pervades everything we do—from software development to support to consulting. Listening well enables us to discern underlying business issues, and to identify effective answers.

  2. Develop practical solutions. We believe that most business problems can be broken into distinct pieces, and that a simple, phased-in approach to each is most effective.

  3. Requisitioning simplicity. We believe strongly that a user should be able to submit only one requisition to handle any possible type of item—whether that item is produced internally or externally, whether it is stored in a warehouse, purchased, printed-on-demand, or electronic. The fulfillment operation itself should be transparent to the user.

Market

Our market consists of large, document-intensive companies which are looking to improve both the efficiency and effectiveness of their fulfillment operations. Although there are exceptions, our primary industries consist of:

  • Financial and Insurance Services

  • Healthcare

  • Graphic Arts

  • Manufacturing

  • Fulfillment Service Bureaus

Typically, our solutions address operations managing over 2,000 individual items with the desire to fulfill through multiple channels (stored, purchased, print-on-demand, electronic, multiple warehouses, etc.) in a single, integrated system.

People

Bradley Company presently consists of over 40 professionals, the majority of whom are directly involved in software development—design, development, testing and integration. We value and promote creativity, integrity, accountability and flexibility.
