A Digital Warehouse for Enterprise Documents
The PrintLink module of Spectrum Plus provides the industry's most complete tracking of enterprise Print on Demand documents and printing. Specifically, PrintLink enables users conveniently to track:
Essentially, PrintLink acts as a "digital warehouse" for your POD. Each POD document name is assigned a location in your digital warehouse. Each POD document can be mapped to any print device known by PrintLink. PrintLink allows rules for routing print jobs to a PrintLink virtual queue based on the quantity requested or on routing codes such as states before releasing the print job to the actual printing devices. The PrintLink "Job Ticket" contains detailed information about the production of the POD document. The ticket is created just once for repeat jobs. Order information for print-on-demand items is automatically routed to output devices without user intervention. PrintLink's Job Management functions itemize and assign costs for all tasks associated with a POD print order. At each stage of production, PrintLink indicates costs to date. |
